Our client has a neat 1971 Camaro that he is looking to freshen up. Naturally, he is looking for reliability, fuel injection and something that can be driven any where at anytime. We recommended an LS Swap or to go a different route with the current engine and transmission package the car has. He decided LS along with some other requests.

We sourced a used power package and went through everything to ensure the health of all our transplanted parts. We resealed the Engine and added a new oil pump and timing kit. With the current Engine and transmission needing to be removed from the car, we will have both the engine and transmission ready on stand by for installation. More coming soon
Things are moving right along. Once the motor mounts were in place for the LS, we wasted no time in checking where everything else was going to land. From steering, to exhaust, to how much clearnace we have to work with. Excited to start putting all the other bits back onto the engine and adding to the engine bay. Soon enough we will be ready for exhaust and making a driveshaft. Still have to run wiring and clean up the interior too.
Since the engine and transmission being married to the Camaro, the interior and engine exteriors have began to get some attention. The LS has been outfitted with headers, Holley Serpentine System, FiTech Intake manifold kit and a complete harness and new ECU have been added. Exhaust System has recently been finshed and the driveshaft has been installed. The dash has also been changed out. The instrument Cluster has been upgraded from its former readouts to an Intelletronix Digital Cluster.
